Our representation of the University of Mississippi's logo is something only Rebel fans can appreciate. The university's nickname, "Ole Miss" is presented here in the school colors of red and blue. We have created fine mascots from other schools, but this piece is special. To quote the university's athletic department website:
"The University is buildings, trees and people. Ole Miss is mood, emotion and personality. One is physical, and the other is spiritual. One is tangible, and the other intangible. The University is respected, but Ole Miss is loved."
The name Ole Miss goes back over 110 years, while the athletics' nickname Rebels was decided upon in 1936. We have combined these two historic monikers in a handsome sculpture made from premium cast stone. This piece represents the true Ole Miss feeling. Rebels would understand.
